Introduction

CONTENTENGINEER^® Group provides technical expertise in complex business information systems, electronic data storage and development of multi-dimensional data control software. As independent vendorneutral experts, the Group offers objectivity, honesty and transparency in all engagements, ensuring that Clients receive appropriate and timely technical advice that meets their individual needs.

Independent

CONTENTENGINEER is based near the M3, on the Surrey/Hampshire/Berkshire border, west of London in the UK's own "silicon valley". Founded in 2001, the Group has the knowledge and resource to provide independent expertise in a wide range of technologies, including both macro and microscopic data, content and information management fields. With proven methodologies, a range of software tools and specialist hardware elements, the Group provides a broad spectrum of services including software development, computer forensics, data recovery and expert witness services. At the macro level this includes large business databases, information networks, complex analysis and investigations. At the other end of the spectrum (the microscopic level), the Group focuses on advanced system diagnostics including performance, interconnect, forensic investigation/examinations, extraction and recovery of artefacts, plus trusted expert witness services.

Founders

The Group was founded in 2001 by Rob and Sarah Shrubsall.

Rob Shrubsall is recognised as one of the UK's leading independent information system experts and investigators of electronic data storage with twenty years experience. An open systems pioneer, he has specifically worked in highly regulated markets of E-Commerce, Telecommunications, Corporate Finance, Equity Trading, Pharmaceuticals and HealthCare, as well as a trusted adviser to other industries. His technical specialisms include rapid application software development, electronic data storage, as well as a range of programming models. With an honours Masters Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of York, a registered Chartered Engineer and Chartered IT Professional, and Member of the British Computer Society and Institution of Engineering and Technology, he is qualified to provide technical, operational, and strategic advice at board level, to technology managers, individuals and to the courts.

Sarah Shrubsall is a pioneer in the field of energy finance management, with over twenty years experience of implementing: monitoring, targeting and auditing systems. As UK Energy Finance Manager, she was responsible for the first organisation in the UK to receive electronic invoice data through EDI. She has specifically worked in Telecommunications, Finance, Building Services and Property. Her operational specialisms include energy payments procedures, business process design and organisational consolidation. With responsibility for the payment of £100m's of energy bills per annum, she has developed unique skills for process improvement and cost reduction strategies in electricity, gas, water, oil, road fuel, telecommunications and other utilities.

Advice

Unlike system integrators or value added resellers, the Group maintains its true independence by not reselling or distributing third party hardware software components, nor third party professional services; nor does it accept introduction fees from hardware vendors, software vendors or other service providers. The Group's mantra of providing "clear, honest and accurate advice" is one that ensures Clients are guaranted a pragmatic and precise opinion or recommendation.
