EXPANDS CRITICAL DATA RECOVERY SERVICES

Managed Incident Response provides Clients with advanced service offering recovery of valuable digital assets

FLEET (Hampshire, UK) – January 2006 – The CONTENTENGINEER Group today announced the expansion of its critical electronic Data Recovery Services. Providing direct access to technical expertise in the event of crisis, the Services enable the recovery of data and artefacts from the widest range of systems, media and devices. “The increased capacity of silicon and magnetic devices, coupled with the exponential increase in data stored undoubtedly leads to risk of data loss,” said Rob Shrubsall, Founder and Chief Technical Expert at CONTENTENGINEER Group. “We have expanded the Firm’s Services offering to enable recovery of digital assets, or data, from a huge range of media and devices”.

This Service complements the Firms’ other three key areas of business, namely totally independent Software Development, Technology Advisory, ContentForensic and Expert Witness Services.“Whether they be commercial, public sector or charitable organisations, or even private individuals, our Clients know that whether the loss of data was accidental, deliberate or as a result of software error, the Firm will often recover either total files, or sufficient partial elements to enable successful re-assembly,” commented Mr Shrubsall.

The Firm is keen to point out that prevention is often better than cure, and the Firm also assists Clients in pro-actively addressing the needs for effective protection of data by designing fully automated solutions. • Theft of portable devices, laptops, PDAs, mobile phones, credit card terminals
• Environmental failure within the data centre
• Internal administrative and external security related attacks
