FETL EnergyForensics

FETL Energy Forensics System is an on-demand, event driven business application for maximising financial savings and validating payments of utlity (energy) bills. It is designed to be used by both financial (budget) managers and energy managers alike; as well as by specific energy payment units or third party bureaus. The system is delivered as an Enterprise class software solution, through a professional subscription or a site license. Using FETL MobileWorkerArchitecture it enables offline use of data, particularly for enery managers or other personnel that visit sites without internet or mobile data access. The system is also designed for bureau or business outsourcing organsiations to offer efficient energy management services including invoice validation to multiple customers with full audit trail.

Multiple Data Sources

FETL Energy Forensics enables users to correlate information from many sources including both manual and electronic feeds:

• Electronic bulk bills (EDI Tradacoms, CSV, XML files)
• Paper invoices produced by suppliers
• Automated telemetry meter readings (i.e. half hour data)
• Manual meter readings (from sub-meters)
• Process and asset specific dimensions
• External third party information (degree days, weather conditions)

Multiple Energy and Commodity Types

The system entity model is rigorously engineered to support all current and new energy types and invoicing strategies with multi-currency and complex asset relationships.

Application Programming Interface

The system will be enhanced with an advanced API to enable the creation of specific scripting, business rule and analytical functions that access the underlying meter reading, invoice line and asset dimension information held within the system.
